This spring’s collection was inspired by one of my favourite movies, “Great Expectations”. Director Alonso Cuaron’s greatest virtue is his ability to create an atmosphere effect. If there’s a green film – outstandingly not in an environmental sense – then this film is. The green colour dominates the pictorial compositions in the movie, and almost every scene shows a touch of green, be it wood, paint or clothing.

In this collection I brought the same effect to life through a piece of garment, accessories, makeup of the models. Gradually, as in the film, color engages many symbolic meanings. Green is the color of life, the color of renewal, of nature, of hope, of luck and of harmony.
